My portraits ultimately need to capture the look but also the personality of the sitter.

As well as getting a true likeness I like to ensure that each piece is a balanced work of art in its own right.

Prices start at £295 (up to around £1500 for full-colour oil) and depend on how much time is involved – more complex images cost more.

I ask for 50% upfront and the remainder when we are all happy with the piece.

I have to work from photos as the portrait takes days or weeks to produce. We usually start by choosing around 5-10 photos that my client likes and take it from there. I can do a photoshoot myself if required.
